Super Smash Bros. Fellowship by C-Studios Super Smash Bros. Fellowship by C-Studios
I tell you, every time I watch all of the cut-scenes of 'The Subspace Emmisary', it upsets me.
Sure, it's a cross-over of infamous Nintendo faces, but do they get treated well? NO.
Do they have enough interaction with eachother? NO.
Did it seem like a happy ending for all the R.O.Bs that were 'Subspace-bomed'? NO.
Did Link pay enough attention to Yoshi? NO.
Did Mario deserve a better role? N...I mean, YES!
I have critisisms about the gameplay, too, but it's really the storyline that makes me low.
Frustrated for the next couple of years after I defeated Tabuu, I've been trying to come up with a much better story....until I got influenced by the Super Mario Bros. Z series by Alvin Earthworm. In fact, I came up with the huge idea 3 months after Flipnote Hatena hit the air. And as I thought about it, the ideas for the cross-over got bigger...and bigger...and bigger...until I was finally ready to draw and write the first episode....out of 15. It's really going to be a long project.

...So yeah. I've explained my frustration, so it's time to tell you what this comic really is.

Super Smash Bros. Fellowship is a huge cross-over of video-game characters in an entirely made-up storyline!
I started it way back on October 2009, and so far, the comic is a little silly. BUT! As the story progresses, things get deeper, more serious, and I know because I've virtually thought out all 15 long episodes, and it's going to be like having to wait for the Star-Wars saga to come to it's end, from start to finish. There will be heart-chuckling cross-over interactions, spectacular brawls between the good and bad, familiar enviroments, emotional moments and lots of Video-game references. I'm really aiming to accomplish something that no fan-made video-game comic has done before.
As for the characters, the series will be mainly concentraiting on the 'Super Mario', 'Rayman', 'Pokemon' and 'Sonic the Hedgehog' casts, as well as a handfull of MY OWN cast, which I'm going to be careful with. So really, Smash Bros. Fellowship is about CASUAL characters. Not from the likes of Twilight Princess, F-Zero or Fire Emblem.

You may have noticed in the drawing that I've included 2 special characters that I'm spoilng right now, RAYGIRL and ASH KETCHUM.
Some characters, like Ash, will be representing an anime of a relative video-game series (His appearance in the puzzle league game on the N64 dosen't count.), whilst Raygirl (Not to be confused with the DeviantArt user) is actually an original character that I made up before I actually learned about DeviantArt, but it's like she sort of belongs to the Rayman universe, anyways.
As the series goes on, there will be a load more of unexpected faces that await the viewers.

I'm going to need lots of encouragement by those who will really like this comic, and maybe even hint me a few ideas! To me, this comic series is gonna be a blast.

at the beginning of your description, you didn't count the part where Kirby characters hog the spotlight in the story.

I thi
nk that pretty much explains Kirby, right? Believe me though, I agree that Kirby's role (and every other character Sakurai owns) got too much attention and plot.

Half 'n half, actually.
The downsides of the Subspace Emissary was the lack of character interaction and being forced to play certain characters you're not used to, or hate to play as. I'm glad we won't have to go through that, again.
Then again, having no story lowers the chances of having 'adventure' stages on the Wii U.

:iconjontronplz: :iconsaysplz:  Ech, I've been watching too many attack on titan intro parody's, now I can't look at this without wanting it animated and with that theme over it.

I would make it, but I wouldn't know the first thing about animating.
